Kennedy's Cottage

Welcome to Kennedy's Cottage, a light-blue coastal retreat in the Laurel Grove neighborhood of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida. The cottage sits right on the Raven Golf Course, with Raven's Hole #3 just out the back door, and two golf carts are included for your stay. This low-country-style cottage is set among mature pines and decorated in a soft aqua watercolor palette. Arrive to a charming covered front porch with ceiling fans, hanging ferns, Adirondack chairs, a hanging egg chair and a porch sofa. A covered back porch offers even more space to unwind, with a porch swing and additional seating. Step inside to a bright, open-concept living room with vaulted ceilings, tall windows, a ceiling fan, a large sectional, armchairs and a large streaming TV. French doors lead right back out to the porch, making indoor-outdoor relaxing effortless. The living area flows into the kitchen, outfitted with white cabinets, suede granite counters, an island and a breakfast bar with stools. You'll also find stainless appliances including a refrigerator, range/oven, microwave and dishwasher, plus drip and single-serve coffee makers and a toaster. Gather around the dining table with a bench on one side and chairs. Bedrooms (all three have en-suite bathrooms): - Primary bedroom: king bed, streaming TV, ceiling fan, golf course views and direct access to the back porch. The en-suite bath has a soaking tub, a double granite vanity with vessel sinks, and a generous walk-in shower. - First-floor guest bedroom: queen bed, streaming TV, ceiling fan and direct access to the front porch - Second-floor bunk room: queen bed, full-over-full bunk beds, crib, desk, streaming TV, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan There are three full bathrooms in total, one attached to each bedroom. LAUREL GROVE CLUBHOUSE The neighborhood clubhouse has a pool (open 8am–10pm), a hot tub, an exercise room (open 24/7), a full kitchen and an outdoor grilling area. Catch-and-release fishing ponds are nearby. SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT The award-winning resort covers 2,400 acres between the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay. It offers 4 championship golf courses, 7 miles of beach, 15 tennis courts, a full-service marina with kayak and paddleboard rentals, multiple pools, a health club and spa, 11 miles of trails, and more than 40 shops, restaurants and nightlife spots. The Village of Baytowne Wharf and Jolee Island add a ropes course, zip line, climbing wall and arcade. BEACH DAYS The beach is about 2.2 miles away by car or golf cart. The included golf carts let you skip Hwy 98 and 30-A traffic: take the cart path to The Beach House (beachfront dining with restrooms) and go through the tunnel under Hwy 98. Extra beach chairs are in the storage bin behind the house. PARKING & GOLF CARTS There is parking for only one vehicle, in the driveway.
